The CI Government invites applications for the following position in the Cabinet Office Portfolio


The Campaigns Project Manager is a member of the Cabinet Office, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Campaigns. The post holder works across ministries to support the planning and delivery of cross-government communications campaigns as defined in the Government Communications Plan.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of campaigns, including ensuring that all campaigns are delivered on time, within scope and within budget, then creating and maintaining standard reports
  • Collecting, organising, and chasing inputs from across government departments and agencies to inform reactive and scheduled planning
  • Assisting with procurement of outsourced agencies, determining campaign requirements and preparing reports/business cases
  • Assessing impact of campaigns so as to evaluate if government priorities and goals are being achieved and identify areas of improvement


  • Undergraduate degree (Business, Project Management, Marketing Communications preferred)

The post holder will 3-5 years’ experience in marketing communications role or project management and will be proficient in maintaining paper and electronic filing systems. He/she will have:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of content creation across digital and traditional channels
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels or multiple activities to achieve a business goal
  • Experience working within or for government is particularly desirable
  • Extensive experience managing relationships with vendors, partners and sponsors
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and multitasking abilities
