Service Desk Administrator ll
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Administrator ll to join the Cayman Islands Government and become a valued member of a highly collaborative team “To make the lives of those we serve better”. You will work in a team of Information Technology (IT) professionals who are responsible for providing high standard professional computer hardware and software support to desktop computers, Data Communications and Network equipment.
The Service Desk Administrator’s primary responsibility is to participate in a high pace environment and receive customer calls to ensure that the customer's needs are properly channeled via the Service Desk ticketing system. The Service Desk team is also responsible for providing quick and efficient incident resolutions.
Qualifications: The post-holder should possess:
1.An IT related Associate’s degree, plus a minimum of four (4) years' post-graduate relevant experience; OR
2.A more mature entrant, with a minimum of three (3) CXE passes, six (6) years of experience is required
All the above experience must be in IT Technical Support or Service Desk Support.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Must have the ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and demonstrate superior customer service maximizing customer satisfaction on problem resolution. Possess the ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment. Have experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suites 16/19/O365. Have working knowledge of computer terminology, Active Directory, VoIP phones and smartphones and tablets along with experience in ITIL helpdesk processes and Service Management software.
The post includes excellent benefits as determined by the Public Service Management Law and Regulations and Personnel Regulations the Public Service Pensions Law and the CINICO Health Plan. This currently includes 18 days paid vacation, 11 public holidays, 12% employer paid pension and comprehensive health insurance.
